This will enable these children to communicate at the international level and stay actively involved with projects conducted by foreign partners. 17.05.11 Refugees at the Mukachevo Centre Build a Greenhouse.
In partnership with the Danish Refugee Council, NEEKA Hungary the decision was taken to build a greenhouse in the Mukachevo Temporary Accommodations Centre “Latoritsa” in the Zakarpatia region. Within the greenhouses structure, asylum seekers now have the opportunity to grow vegetables for themselves and their families. NEEKA recognizes that a variety of different protection and social welfare problems are likely to arise in situation where refugees are unable to become self-reliant and to meet their basic needs. Higher levels of physical and mental illness, as well as an increased incidence of delinquency and domestic violence may occur in such scenarios. |
