14.04.11 Perechin Refugee Centre gets an Internet Connection

Thursday the 14th of April, Neeka Ukraine visited the Perechin temporary accommodation centre where refugees have thus far lacked internet access. With the help of Fadi a volunteer IT specialist who incidentally is also an asylum seeker (from Gaza), a working connection was set up within two hours. Neeka social workers were also at the scene distributing food. With one computer available for around 25 people this new development was greeted with enthusiasm as having access to the world wide web in todays environment is a neccessity. Neeka continues to look for donors to provide additional computers.
